Jake Paul is weighing his next options after Canelo Alvarez pulled out of their potential May 3rd fight. Earlier this year, discussions were underway for the bout to be broadcast on Netflix, but Canelo signed a lucrative four-fight deal with Riyadh Season, positioning him for a clash with Terence Crawford in September. As part of his Saudi deal, Canelo is now set to fight William Scull on May 3rd.

While a fight between Paul and Canelo isn’t entirely ruled out, Floyd Mayweather’s uncle, Jeff Mayweather, believes it won’t happen anytime soon. In a recent interview with The Mayweather Channel, the renowned trainer discussed who Canelo is likely to face before considering a matchup with someone like Paul.
