Jake Paul Plans to Call Out Canelo Alvarez If He Beats Mike Tyson
At long last, the showdown between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is set to go down on Nov. 15. The pair were meant to fight in July, but a medical scare caused the bout to be postponed.

Tyson is arguably the greatest boxer in the history of the sport, and Paul has been making his name by taking on pretty much everyone who has challenged him, which has been a lot of former UFC fighters like Nick Diaz, Tyron Woodley, and Mike Perry.
Paul and Perry faced off in July when Tyson could not make the fight. Though Paul could have been knocked out, jeopardizing his matchup with Tyson, he ended up handily beating Perry.

Now, Paul has some huge plans for when he defeats Tyson, which is calling out the best boxer on the planet: Canelo Alvarez.

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul to fight at $1 billion stadium that saw Canelo break boxing record and shatter eye socket of hated rival
Like it or loathe it, Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul will be one of the biggest boxing fights in history.
It’s a wild west of a fight – a former undisputed heavyweight champion against a former Disney star-turned YouTuber – so it’s appropriate that it is being staged at the home of the Cowboys.
Tens of thousands of spectators are due to descend on the 80,000-seater AT&T Stadium, which usually hosts the NFL side.
The impressive structure, which cost $1.3 billion to build, is described as ‘the largest, most technologically advanced entertainment venue in the world’.
And it lives up to the billing, boasting the world’s largest HDTV, measuring 160 feet wide and 72 feet tall.
There are also more than 3,000 screens scattered around the ground while it comes complete with a huge retractable end zone, 300 luxury suites and a massive Miller Lite House that has a 70-yard field plus more than 87,000 square feet of outdoor space for game day entertainment.

The AT&T Stadium is one of the grounds that will be used for the 2026 world cup, which will host a different kind of football.
Paul vs Tyson will undoubtedly be the biggest boxing event to have taken place at the venue but it is no stranger to laying host to blockbuster fights.
The biggest of them all came in 2021 when Canelo Alvarez locked horns with Billy Joe Saunders in a WBA, WBC and WBO super middleweight unification clash.

There was plenty of bad blood in the build-up, with both men engaging in a dispute over the size of the ring while their entourages wound up in a heated altercation at the fighters’ hotel during fight week.
When they eventually came face to face in the ring, the fight was close and competitive for the first seven rounds.
Canelo had gotten off to a better start while Saunders was beginning to gain a foothold in the middle rounds.

Boxing’s biggest robberies: These bouts have been called crimes and caused outrage with Canelo a beneficiary
Claims of a robbery in boxing have become common, with the statement being thrown around on a regular basis.
However, only some shouts can be backed up, and here are the ten most controversial fights that genuinely rocked the sport.
Manny Pacquiao, Lennox Lewis, Gennady Golovkin and George Foreman are among the most famous names to step into the ring.
But they are also just a few of the boxing superstars to have been stung by some inexplicable judging…
10. Canelo Alvarez D12 Gennady Golovkin (2017)
An appalling robbery? No.
But it looked obvious to most viewers that ‘Triple G’ had done enough to earn a close-but-clear decision win over his great rival in their epic first fight, out-landing Alvarez in 10 of the 12 rounds.

But Adalaide Byrd’s jaw-dropping scorecard of 118-110 to Canelo (with Golovkin winning just two rounds) led to a split-decision draw and fuelled the bad blood that engulfed this feud.
“The scoring is not my fault,” shrugged Golovkin, while his trainer Abel Sanchez suggested Byrd must have filled out her scorecard before the two middleweights entered the ring.
9. Erik Morales W12 Marco Antonio Barrera (2000)
Another dubious decision that sparked a memorable trilogy.
Unbeaten Morales was the favourite going into this war with his Mexican blood rival, which perhaps swayed the judges.
The ferocious action went back and forth, but Barrera’s left hook finished many of the exchanges, while a knockdown in the final minute seemed to seal his win. However, two of the judges had other ideas, giving Morales a split-decision triumph.
Barrera won another controversial fight the second time around (with several observers believing this time ‘El Terrible’ deserved victory) before sealing the trilogy in a final thriller.
Mike Tyson exclusively tells talkSPORT ‘I’m going to slaughter him’ when asked about his tactics for his fight with Jake Paul
8. Oscar De La Hoya W12 Felix Sturm (2004)
Debatable decisions followed ‘The Golden Boy’ around. De La Hoya’s defeats by Felix Trinidad and Shane Mosley (in their rematch) provoked huge debate, as did his victory against Pernell Whitaker.
But the clearest bad decision came against unfancied Sturm. De La Hoya was warming up for a blockbuster showdown with Bernard Hopkins and, out of his natural division at middleweight, got outworked by Germany’s Sturm in a scrappy bout.
The judges, perhaps unwilling to derail a super-fight, all gave De La Hoya the nod at 115-113. A fair scorecard… just for the wrong boxer.
7. Josh Taylor W12 Jack Catterall (2022)
One of the most blatantly incorrect decisions in a British ring.
Scotland’s Taylor had done superbly to unify the world titles at 140lb yet couldn’t get to grips with Catterall in a messy fight between two southpaws.
‘El Gato’ knocked down Taylor in round eight and landed the cleaner punches throughout. But the split decision in Glasgow saw two of the judges edge the fight to the champion.
“What a load of s***!” Catterall tweeted afterwards, which seemed a fair summary.
Two years later, the pair met again for a rematch and Catterall was able to avenge the shock defeat, winning via unanimous decision.
Simon Jordan and Sam Jones argue over who Chris Eubank Jr should fight next amid Canelo Alvarez and Conor Benn links
Simon Jordan and Sam Jones disagree on Chris Eubank Jr’s potential next opponent.
Eubank Jr recently made his comeback in a stoppage win over Kamil Szeremeta and has several options on the table as he looks to push for the biggest purses and world title opportunities.
Conor Benn leapt into the ring after the fight and the pair faced off, with the Britons both verbally agreeing to a clash in 2025.
But reports have now emerged that Eubank Jr has resumed talks with 168lbs unified world champion Canelo Alvarez over a blockbuster meeting in the new year.
Simon Jordan and Sam Jones disputed their respective plans for Eubank Jr during the latest episode of talkBOXING, with the latter beginning by suggesting a fight with Alvarez will not happen.
He began: “I don’t believe the fight’s going to happen in a million years.

“It’s like with Terence Crawford. He was meant to fight Terence Crawford. He was meant to fight Canelo. It didn’t happen. I’m putting my neck on the line – that fight does not happen.
“Why on earth would Canelo Alvarez come and fight Chris Eubank Jr? David Benavidez is the fight I want to see. I want to see Benn against Eubank and I want to see Canelo fight David Benavidez.
“He makes triple what he earns against Conor Benn, against a welterweight, rather than Canelo Alvarez. They’ve already offered Eubank Jr that fight and he turned it down.”
Jordan then countered his point, questioning: “But it’s not the same question. The question is – is it right for Chris Eubank? So if it’s about legacy, if it’s about an opportunity, you say he would have fought him.
“He’s now got an opportunity to fight him. It must be the right fight for him.”

REPORT | Canelo Alvarez vs. Chris Eubank Jr. being eyed for 2025, possibly in Wembley Stadium
It seems that boxing stars Canelo Alvarez and Chris Eubank Jr. are on a collision course.
The Mexican superstar last competed in September, in Las Vegas. Fresh off a dominant decision victory over Jaime Munguia in May, Canelo Alvarez faced rising prospect Edgar Berlanga. Prior to signing a deal to face the Puerto Rican boxer, the super-middleweight champion was in discussions to face Chris Eubank Jr. instead.
Ultimately, Canelo Alvarez ended up handing ‘The Chosen One’ a lopsided decision loss. Following the victory, the boxing star again shot down a long-awaited contest against David Benavidez. Instead, it seems that Alvarez is again going back to the drawing board. According to BOXXER’s Ben Shalom, the Mexican boxer could face Chris Eubank Jr.
After talks between the two stalled earlier this year, ‘Next Gen’ signed a deal to return in Saudi Arabia. On the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol earlier this month, Chris Eubank Jr. scored a knockout win over Kamil Sz
